Cam Valley CRP Supports the Days Out by Rail Campaign

Days out by Rail campaign logo. Includes the web address for scenicrailbritain.com

Throughout August, the Cam Valley Community Rail Partnership is proud to support Community Rail Network's annual Days Out by Rail campaign, celebrating the many attractions, walks, cycle routes, food and drink destinations that can be reached by train.

The campaign encourages people to discover new places, travel sustainably and enjoy affordable days out by rail. This year’s themes focus on Local Family Favourites, Summer Family Days Out for Less, and Taste Your Way by Rail, showcasing everything from popular visitor attractions and hidden gems to scenic walking routes, cycling adventures and local food and drink experiences.

The Cam Valley is an ideal place to explore by train. Whether you’re visiting Shepreth Wildlife Park, enjoying a family day out at Wimpole Estate, discovering the Cam Valley Cycle Loop, following a countryside walking route through the chalk stream landscape, or sampling the pubs featured in our Rail & Ale Trail, there are plenty of opportunities to leave the car behind and enjoy a greener day out. Visit our Days Out, Walking Routes, Cycling Routes and Rail & Ale Trail pages to start planning your next adventure by rail.
