Choose from two walking routes, one goes past all 19 thatched cottages in Meldreth and the other takes in Melbourn and the Melwood local nature reserve.

Meldreth is known for its attractive collection of thatched cottages. For centuries, local builders used long straw from surrounding farmland to create roofs that kept homes warm, dry and well insulated.
