All Saints is a substantial medieval parish church at the heart of Melbourn, reflecting over 1,000 years of worship and forming a key historic landmark in one of the larger villages in the area.
The church dates primarily from the 13th century, with a chancel, nave and parts of the tower surviving from this period, and significant rebuilding and expansion in the 15th century including the west tower and clerestory.
Constructed from flint, pebblestone and clunch with limestone dressings, it displays the layered development typical of Cambridgeshire parish churches, alongside a major Victorian restoration in the 1880s.
All Saints remains deeply embedded in village life, hosting worship, events and community activity while preserving a rich collection of medieval and later features.
